Genre: Cinematic Horror / Mystery / Suspense Thriller
This book is divided into two major parts:
Part 1: The Awakening – (The beginning of the story, character depth, the first curse)
Part 2: Rise of the Deadlights – (The city turns into hell, the spreading mystery, and an ending that never ends)
🎃 Part 1 – The Awakening
Chapter 1 – The Silence of North Hollow
The cold October wind echoed through the skies of North Hollow City.
The streets were filled with pumpkins, glowing lights, and eerie scarecrows.
Every house was preparing for “Trick or Treat.”
People were smiling, children ran around in masks.
But no one knew — this Halloween would be the last.
In the middle of the city stood an old house —
221, Maple Street.
That’s where Captain Reax lived,
along with his seven strange but lovable friends.
Chapter 2 – The Crew
Our group was different.
Not just friends — like characters from a story.
Each of us had our own face, our own weakness.
Peter – always negative, yet kind at heart.
“Man, this is useless… something’s gonna go wrong.”
That was his line every time.
Emma – bright as sunlight. Cheerful, always searching for hope.
“Maybe fear is the only thing that makes us feel alive.”
Michael – hot-headed, impulsive, always ready for a fight.
James – the tech geek.
“If something’s wrong, just reboot the system,”
was his solution to every problem.
Ricky – believed in spirits and dark rituals.
His room was full of candles, charms, and ancient texts.
Max – mute, but the wisest among us.
His eyes often said what others couldn’t.
Clara – beautiful but lost in herself.
Always busy perfecting her face.
“Makeup is my magic,” she used to say.
And then there was me —
Captain Reax, the leader.
The one who made decisions — sometimes without thinking.
Chapter 3 – The Blackwood Hill Picnic
The night before Halloween, we decided —
“Tomorrow the city will be busy partying, so why don’t we have a picnic in the forest tonight?”
Blackwood Hill Forest — at the edge of the city,
a place no one dared to visit after dark.
We rode our bikes.
The air was crisp, leaves rustled,
and pale moonlight shimmered above.
Ricky said,
“There’s a story about this forest. A ‘Hollow Man’ is buried here.”
We laughed.
Peter grunted, “Nonsense.”
But when we reached the top of the hill —
the joke turned into fear.
On the ground lay an old skeleton.
Broken bones, a shattered skull,
and an empty hole where the chest should have been.
The wind suddenly turned icy.
Somewhere, an owl hooted.
Chapter 4 – The Captain’s First Order
Michael said, “Let’s just leave it.”
But I got an idea — a bad one.
Laughing, I said,
“The Captain’s order — put it back together.”
Everyone froze.
Clara started shaping the face out of dirt.
James snapped a photo.
Emma stayed silent, fear in her eyes.
Ricky muttered, “Don’t… this is wrong…”
But I didn’t listen.
He began chanting —
the wind grew stronger,
trees groaned in the distance.
“Mortuus… levare… spiritus vocare…”
As soon as he spoke the last words,
the skeleton started trembling.
The skull gave a sudden twitch.
A puff of black smoke rose from its empty eyes.
We all screamed.
Michael kicked it —
and the skeleton rolled down into the ravine.
We ran — never looking back.
Chapter 5 – The Night of Silence
That night, the city was too quiet.
Maybe because something had awakened.
I went to my room,
but something felt… off.
Someone was lying on my bed.
The blanket moved.
“Who’s there?” I whispered.
I pulled the sheet — nothing.
Then, something grabbed my legs.
I was thrown into the air.
Hit the floor hard.
A voice came from under the bed —
“Reax… you brought me back…”
My blood ran cold.
Chapter 6 – The Basement Horror
Hearing my scream, my family rushed in.
Then my sister shouted —
“He’s in my closet!”
We ran to her room.
Opened the door —
and a foul stench spilled out.
Slowly,
a hand came out —
half bone, half decayed flesh.
That hand broke apart into crawling insects
and vanished under the floor.
We ran down to the basement —
and there… it was standing.
The same skeleton — now with flesh,
and darkness glowing in its eyes.
It spoke:
“You brought me back… now I’ll take you all…”
It stepped forward.
The air froze.
My mother collapsed, my father was dragged away.
My sister rose into the air.
I lunged at it.
My arm snapped, but I grabbed its head.
It turned into smoke and vanished.
Chapter 7 – The City of Chaos
I rushed outside —
and what I saw froze my soul.
On the street,
every decoration had come alive.
Scarecrows were walking,
pumpkins were laughing,
clowns were dancing.
People screamed and ran.
Every fake ghost had become real death.
Emma cried,
“This… this is not Halloween anymore… it’s hell!”
Michael’s body trembled —
he was turning into the very scarecrow
he’d put up at his house.
Clara’s makeup melted,
her flesh dripping with it.
And Ricky…
chanting the same words,
was slowly sinking into the ground.
I looked up —
and there it was again.
The same skeletal shadow, now enormous, made of smoke.
“Welcome… to the Last Party…”
The whole city fell into darkness.
Chapter 8 – The Endless Night
The city had become living death.
Behind every corner, behind every wall — some “dummy” was breathing.
I was the only one left.
A broken flashlight in my hand, blood all over my body.
A voice whispered —
“Reax… you started this… now finish it.”
I asked, “Who are you?”
No answer.
Only that same hollow laughter in the air.
And then —
I felt my body slowly changing.
My hands stiffened like wood.
My face grew cold.
I looked in the mirror —
I wasn’t human anymore…
I had become Halloween itself.
End of Part 1… but not the end.
Next — Halloween: Rise of the Deadlights
where Reax returns to a city turned into hell,
and his friends — are no longer human,
but the souls of Halloween.
🎃 HALLOWEEN: THE LAST PARTY
Part 2 – RISE OF THE DEADLIGHTS
(Author – Captain Reax)
Chapter 1: Ash and Screams
Morning no longer fell upon the city.
Instead of the sun, a thick layer of smoke hung overhead,
and with every breath, ash filled the lungs.
Ravensfield — once a city of light and laughter —
had now become only a name for screams and silence.
Captain Reax slowly opened his eyes.
His head throbbed, and his body was coated in blood and dust.
Where people had danced just last night,
now lay broken bones and burned masks.
In the air, like an old melody, a church bell rang —
Ding... Ding... Ding...
Every peal sank deep into him,
as if someone were calling him.
Reax looked around —
on the wall of the Town Hall, someone had written in blood:
“WE ARE BACK.”
Beneath it were three red circles.
The same symbol he had first seen in the Deadlights files.
Chapter 2: The Mountain Peak
Only one thing still seemed strange —
the corpse found last night.
It hung from the peak of Ravens Peak, swaying in the cold wind.
Its eyes were popped out, mouth agape,
and its face frozen in horror, as if it had seen something dreadful before death.
The police said,
“We found a wooden key inside its chest.”
Reax took the key in hand —
etched on it was: “REAX.”
“This is no joke,” he muttered,
“this is a sign.”
The wind on the peak suddenly turned icy.
From beneath the ground, it sounded like a heartbeat.
Something ancient, something alive...
Chapter 3: Who Was the Dead Man?
Reports came in —
he was no ordinary man.
He was Dr. Allan Crowe,
the scientist who had started the “Deadlights Project” years ago.
People had called him crazy,
because he claimed dead souls could live as energy.
Then one day, an explosion occurred in his lab —
and he mysteriously vanished.
Now, twenty years later,
his body was found on the same mountain where his lab once stood.
And in his heart — the name Reax.
“Why did you choose me, Crowe…”
fear and anger burned in Reax’s eyes.
Chapter 4: Spreading Darkness
Over the next three days, the city slowly began to die.
Electricity vanished.
Water turned red.
At night, a blue glow floated through the air —
as if wandering spirits roamed the streets.
Reax called upon his old allies —
Lara, now a police officer,
Sean, the church priest,
and Mia, a scientist who had researched Crowe’s files.
They gathered in an old basement beneath the church.
Trembling, Mia said,
“This is not a virus, Reax… this has been summoned.”
“By whom?” he asked.
She flipped a page in her diary —
it read:
‘Deadlights are souls that never died.’
Chapter 5: The City Turns to Hell
Then came the night —
the night the city became hell.
A red fog descended on every street.
The dead returned.
Children’s swings moved on their own.
And every radio in the houses repeated the same sentence:
“Reax… complete the ritual.”
Reax ran toward the Town Hall.
Blood dripped from the walls,
and on the stage stood Dr. Crowe —
alive, but no longer fully human.
His eyes burned with Deadlights.
“You called me, Reax,” he said,
“now do not stop me. This city will be mine.”
Chapter 6: Betrayal
Lara said, her voice trembling,
“We have to get out of here. It’s too late now.”
But Sean, the priest, grabbed her hand.
“No. This is our fight now.”
There was something strange in his voice.
When Reax looked at him,
the veins on Sean’s face had turned blue,
his eyes white — and from his lips came the words:
“He is the chosen one — Reax.”
Sean was no longer human.
Chapter 7: The Conspiracy
Lara slammed a pile of files onto the table.
“This was all planned, Reax. Crowe was not alone. The government was involved.”
Reax quietly asked,
“Why?”
Mia said,
“There was a project called ‘Operation Halloween.’
They wanted to capture souls and use them
to create ‘immortal soldiers.’”
Reax’s breath caught.
“So Crowe did not sacrifice himself… he opened the door.”
Fear filled Mia’s eyes.
“And that door has opened again.”
Chapter 8: Blood and Fire
The entire city was burning.
Every street filled with screams, every wall with shadows.
Reax ran with Lara and Mia toward the old clock tower —
where the Deadlight Portal was opening.
Crowe stood there, smiling.
“You are a part of me, Reax,”
he said,
“You cannot kill me… because I am inside you.”
Reax raised his gun,
but Crowe’s eyes glowed with golden light —
and in that instant, the same light entered Reax’s eyes.
Chapter 9: The Final Battle
The sky tore open.
Red lightning struck the earth.
Reax and Crowe clashed —
the last battle of light and darkness.
Mia and Lara turned on the tower generator,
and suddenly, a massive explosion occurred.
Crowe screamed,
“You changed nothing, Reax… I will return!”
Then everything turned blindingly white.
Chapter 10: The Never-Ending End
Morning light spread across the city,
but the city was still not at peace.
Reax lay on the ground,
Lara and Mia ran to him.
He slowly opened his eyes —
their color now golden.
He smiled:
“Crowe is gone…”
pausing, then added —
“…but now, he is me.”
In the distance, on every lamppost,
the red symbol of Deadlights blinked.
And in the air, the same old voice echoed:
“Halloween will never end…”
Part 2 Complete.
But the story is not over.
Because now, within the city, the evil lives —
and it will never die.
