Leading the group was Igor Dyatlov (23 years old).
They were all experienced hikers and mountaineers.

and a few were so disfigured their faces were unrecognizable.

Two bodies lay under a tree, near charred wood—the fire had long gone out.
Three were on the slope, their ribs broken.
Four were found in a ravine—one woman’s face horribly mutilated, her tongue missing.

Even the soldiers trembled at the sight.
The report read:
“These deaths were caused by an unknown and extremely powerful force.”

The True Identity of Silence

People believed it was the work of the Yeti.
But the truth was far more terrifying.

This creature was not an animal…
It was once a man.

Centuries ago, in the 16th century,
a hunting party was lost in the frozen Urals.
One of them—Ivan Fedorovich—
driven by starvation, began to eat the flesh of his companions.

At that moment, he was struck by a curse.

This was why the Dyatlov hikers did not die from ordinary cold.
One by one, they fell as prey to his hunger.

The Ancient Book – Codex of Frost

Among the rescue team was a secret officer.
In his hands, an old book—
“Codex of Frost” (1701).

It read:

“Silence hides in the snow.
His breath freezes the very air.
He despises warmth,
yet the warmth of human blood is his life.
When he attacks,

The book also stated that
every hundred years Silence’s hunger grows.
He slaughters all who enter his territory,
and the souls of his victims wander forever in the ice.

The Soldiers’ Silence

The Soviet government knew the truth about this being.
But they closed the case, calling it an “avalanche.”
In reality, the classified files bore the codename:
“Project Silence.”

The authorities did not want the world to know
that in Russia’s frozen mountains
lived an immortal cannibal.

The Echo of Silence

On the night the nine hikers died,
people reported seeing glowing lights in the sky.
Some claimed it was a UFO.
But in truth, the glow was

Two bodies were missing their eyes.
One woman was missing her tongue.
The official cause of death was recorded as: “An unknown powerful force.”

But the real report never reached the public.
The government placed it into a classified file under the codename:
“PROJECT SILENCE.”

The Secret Laboratory

In the summer of 1959, at a military base in the Urals, a secret meeting was held.
Generals, scientists, and intelligence officers gathered around a table.
On the table sat a frost-covered bottle.
Inside it was thick, red blood—collected near one of the corpses.

The scientist said:

“This blood is not ordinary human blood.
Even at –50°C, it does not freeze.
This is the blood of Silence.”

Using this blood, the Soviet government attempted to create a biological weapon.
They believed that if this blood was injected into human veins,
a soldier would never die from cold.

But the experiment failed.
The soldiers who were injected lost their minds within hours.
Their eyes turned completely white, and they began to drink the blood of others.

The file concluded:
“Silence’s blood is poison to humans. It robs a man of his humanity.”

The True Power of Silence

The final pages of the Codex of Frost read:

“Silence can never die.
He will live as long as warmth exists on Earth.
He hunts only those whose body heat rises above 15°C.
When he comes, the air itself falls to –100°C.”

In other words, Silence hunted human warmth.
He could hide in the forest, in snow, or within storms.

The Night of Hell

A secret military squad was ordered to capture Silence.
They carried flamethrowers, machine guns, and explosives.

At night, when they set up camp,
the sound of heavy breathing echoed all around.
Suddenly, the air froze…
their flashlights dimmed in the thick fog.

And then—
from the snow emerged a massive white figure.
Where its eyes should have been, there were hollow pits.
From its mouth poured a mist of frozen air.

The soldiers opened fire.
But bullets struck its body and instantly froze.
The flamethrower’s flames extinguished the moment they reached him.

He moved forward, and in seconds three soldiers’ ribs
burst from the inside out.
One soldier’s eyes hollowed in an instant.
Another’s tongue fell onto the ice.

The rest fled…
but none ever returned.

The Secret Agreement

After the disappearance of the squad,
the government made its decision:
“Silence cannot be defeated. He must never be disturbed.”

They declared the area around the pass a restricted zone.
Civilians were forbidden to enter.
But the truth was kept hidden from the world.

The Echo of the End

Even today, Dyatlov Pass remains a place of mystery.
Those who go there never return the same.
