In 1784, a Spanish missionary named Father Elías Corvalán mentioned a mysterious manuscript. It described a terrifying entity called "Shabiri" — a cannibalistic spirit believed to be a fallen soul of an ancestor who was obsessed with flesh and black magic. After his death, his body never fully decomposed, and his soul remained trapped in the forest — hungry and restless for eternity.

In the village of Hiva-Tutara, a Yanomami warrior named Oraimo was found dead without any wounds. His eyes were completely black, and his jaw was locked wide open — as if he had died screaming.
