Beginning: Grief and Shadows
Azelia Martinez was only 17 when her abuela (grandmother) died. Living in the coastal Latin town of Isla del Sol, she had always been closest to her abuela — a revered healer and spiritual woman, who died mysteriously in a fire.
After her death, Azelia finds an old wooden chest containing a handwritten book, some scorched candles, and a photo of a black stone well. Inside the book, a line is etched:
"Every wish comes true…
But the price may be greater than life itself."
The Well’s First Whisper
Strange dreams begin to haunt Azelia — a burning woman, a voice from a well calling her name, and a spirit whispering:
"Fulfill my vow."
She recognizes the place in the photo — a hidden old well in the woods near the island’s abandoned cemetery. Her grandmother had warned her about it all her life:
"Never ask the well for anything... It takes. It does not give."
But Azelia is broken — her mother’s cancer, her loneliness, her helplessness…
The First Wish
One stormy night, as her mother’s condition worsens, Azelia visits the well and whispers:
“I want my mom to survive… no matter the cost.”
The well seems to breathe — ripples shimmer like eyes, whispers emerge from the darkness, and the reflection of a burnt, ghostly figure rises from the surface.
The same ghost from her dreams — La Fantasma.
The Healing… and the Fire
The next day, Azelia’s mother miraculously recovers. Doctors are baffled. The neighbors call it her grandmother’s blessing.
But on that same day, a local sculptress is found burned alive in her studio — just like Azelia’s abuela.
And so begins… the revenge.
Supernatural Signs and the Spirit’s Arrival
Now, the spirit doesn’t just appear in dreams — it etches Azelia’s name in blood on the walls, burns symbols into her arms, and whispers through mirrors:
“Make another wish.”
Second Wish and the Spirit’s History
Azelia feels her heart breaking as her love interest, Chloe, grows distant. Desperate, she returns to the well:
“I want Chloe to love me… forever.”
But the price this time is even darker.
Chloe becomes obsessed with Azelia — dangerously. She harms herself. Her eyes turn completely black. Her voice sounds... not her own.

In her grandmother’s diary, Azelia discovers a terrifying truth:
The spirit is her grand-aunt Ysabel, who was burned alive as a witch in the early 1900s after being betrayed by the man she loved.
Now, the spirit wants more than revenge.
She wants to live again… through Azelia.

Beginning: The Spirit Within
Azelia begins to speak in strange tongues, sleepwalk, and hear her grandmother’s voice warning her in the wind.
The spirit has now claimed her soul.
Her eyes sometimes glow gold. Animals fall sick near her presence. Shadows follow her.
Revelation of the Past
The spirit — Ysabel — had been burned by the very people whose descendants now live in Isla del Sol:

Azelia finds an ancient purification ritual in her grandmother’s diary — one that only someone connected to the spirit can perform.

But Azelia knows:
