He discovers a mysterious artifact — the **Lemarchand’s Box**, an ancient puzzle said to summon beings from another dimension when solved. Frank opens it… and from the darkness emerge the **Cenobites** — creatures that do not distinguish between **pleasure and pain**.

They tear Frank’s body apart and drag his soul into Hell. His physical presence vanishes from the world.
