In the small village of **Nimgarh** in Uttar Pradesh, the festival of Holi was always celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. The villagers would play with colors, sing songs, and dance around the bonfire on the night of Holika Dahan. But 500 years ago, an event occurred in this very village that stained the colors of Holi with blood. This is the story of a young girl named **Meera**, who was burned alive on the day of Holika Dahan by some dishonest people based on false accusations. Meera's final screams filled the air of the village with a curse, and from that day on, she became an immortal spirit that returns every year on the night of Holika Dahan to avenge her death.  

### The Story of Meera  

Meera was an ordinary girl from Nimgarh village. She was beautiful, hardworking, and kind. Her father was the village head, and Meera was loved and respected by every child in the village. However, some dishonest people envied her success and popularity. They accused her of being a witch and claimed that she was sowing discord in the village. On the night of Holika Dahan, when the entire village gathered around the bonfire, these people captured Meera and threw her into the fire. Meera's screams echoed through the air, but no one came to her aid. With her death, a strange silence fell over the village.  

After that night, strange events began to occur in the village. On the night of Holika Dahan, those responsible for Meera's death began to die one by one under mysterious circumstances. Their bodies were found burned, as if they had been thrown into a fire. The villagers realized that Meera's spirit was still alive and seeking revenge for her death.  

### The Spread of the Curse  

Gradually, the anger of Meera's spirit grew so strong that she began to kill 16-year-old boys in the village every Holika Dahan night. The villagers started fleeing in fear. Some found refuge in neighboring villages, while others moved to cities or abroad. But Meera's spirit did not leave them alone. Every year on the night of Holika Dahan, she would find her victim and burn them alive.  

500 years passed, and now it is the year 2025. In the modern world, no one believes this story. People consider it an old superstition and have forgotten about it. But Meera's spirit is still alive, and this time, she has targeted a family living in America. This family had moved from Nimgarh to the US, and now their son has turned 16 years old.  

### Formation of an International Team  

This time, an international team was formed to stop Meera's spirit. The team consisted of 12 people from different countries. Among them were paranormal experts and those who had encountered spirits in their lives. The team was led by **Dr. Arjun Mishra**, an Indian archaeologist and spirit expert. The team also included:  

1. **Emily Carter** (UK) - a renowned paranormal researcher.  

2. **Professor Hiroshi Tanaka** (Japan) - a Japanese onmyoji (spirit expert).  

3. **Maria Gomez** (Mexico) - a shaman who can communicate with spirits.  

4. **John Smith** (USA) - a former soldier and paranormal investigator.

### Arrival in Nimgarh  

The team set up camp in Nimgarh village, where Meera's spirit had the strongest influence. The village was now deserted, with only a few elderly people remaining. The team installed a device in the center of the village capable of binding spirits. On the night of Holika Dahan, the team began a ritual to summon Meera's spirit.  

### Meera's Wrath  

As soon as the ritual began, the air filled with an eerie chill. The sky was covered with dark clouds, and Meera's screams echoed in the air. Suddenly, 8 members of the team disappeared. Their bodies were never found, as if they had vanished into thin air. The remaining 4 members took refuge in a deep cave near the village. This cave had been considered Meera's dwelling place for centuries.  

Inside the cave, they found Meera's remains, which had been preserved. Dr. Arjun attempted to calm Meera's spirit by chanting an ancient mantra. But Meera's spirit attacked them.  

### The Final Battle  

In the end, one of the team members, **Emily**, sacrificed her life by throwing Meera's remains into the fire of the cave. This brought peace to Meera's spirit, but the bodies of Emily and the other 3 members were found inside the cave.  

### Conclusion  

Today, Nimgarh village is thriving again, and the festival of Holi is celebrated without fear. But the villagers still avoid that cave, knowing that Meera's spirit might still be lurking somewhere within...
